This blog has many, many, many entries. That, we would argue, is a good thing because we want to provide information and inspiration related to an array of aspects of the mental health journey.
But having so much information to choose from can be a little (maybe even a lot) overwhelming—especially if you are new here. As a result, we have been in the habit of posting roundups of previous posts that touch on related topics. You could think of those entries as one-stop shops for information about whatever the particular topic might be.
In this post, we are going to go a little meta. This is a roundup post of our roundup posts.
You can think of this entry as a jumping-off point for a number of key topics we have covered over time—allowing you to follow a single thread through multiple entries or just giving you a chance to dip your toe into a topic to see if it applies to you and your situation. In addition, we will include one roundup of resources that are not part of this blog but certainly relate to a topic we think is important for everyone’s mental well-being.
Let’s start rounding up the roundups.
A Collection of Posts About Anxiety
It probably will come as no surprise that we write about anxiety and panic disorders quite a lot in this blog. After all, these disorders affect millions upon millions of adults in the United States, and it is on the rise among young people as well.
In a post titled “Anxiety Roundup from the Peak View Blog,” we gathered together five previous posts about anxiety, providing both excerpts from those blogs and links to the full versions.
Additionally, we published a roundup post that includes two techniques for addressing anxiety in the moment. One is none as box breathing and the other is a countdown technique that engages your senses and holds you in the current moment. That blog is titled “If You Can Breathe and Count, You Can Address Anxiety.”
A Collection of Posts About Time
In a post cleverly titled (if we do say so ourselves) “It Is Roundup O’Clock: Blogs About Time,” we gathered together previous posts that used the notion of time to talk about mental health challenges and opportunities in a variety of ways.
Among the important ideas in those posts is a consideration of time management and how it can reduce stress. The roundup also includes links to posts about the importance of supportive friendships that stand the test of time, spending less of our time with screens, and a reminder that the best time to get help for a substance use disorder (which may be entangled with a mental health disorder) is always right now.
Two Topics That Aren’t Always at the Forefront
From time to time, this blog touches on one subject or another without a lot of frequency—or even just once. In “A Mini Roundup: Third Places and Color Therapy,” we pointed readers back to a couple of posts that might easily get overlooked, but which, we think, are interesting nonetheless.
First, we linked back to a post about so-called “third places”—places away from home or work that can be a place of community and positive relationships. And then we connected back to our post about color therapy—what it is and whether it is effective (spoiler: it is unclear).
A Collection of Posts Keeping Your Mind in Mind
In the roundup post titled “Mining Our Blogs About Your Mind,” we linked readers back to a blog reminding them about the various ways our brains and bodies are connected; to a post about maintaining a growth mindset; and (in a bit of a meta move) to a series of posts related to mindfulness practice and the ways it can help us stay present in the current moment.
Taking good care of your mind, it probably goes without saying, is central to your mental health. The posts in this collection give you tools to do just that.
A Roundup of 2025 Blog Posts
At the end of 2025, we offered “Looking Back on a Year’s Worth of Blog Posts,” selecting one from each month. The topics are more varied than in the other roundups collected here, but that post can still be a great jumping-off point as you explore this blog and its contents.
Rounding Up Two More
Though the biggest holiday coming up at the time of this writing is St. Patrick’s Day, we do have a roundup of mental health ideas and suggestions built around the big year-end holidays. Those ideas and suggestions can certainly be applied year-round. Check out “Mental Wellness Strategies Around the Holidays” for more.
And finally, we promised you a link to a roundup that shares resources outside this blog. “Happiness Tips from Several Sources” offers…well…happiness tips from several sources.
