Mental health disorders affect all kinds of people for all kinds of reasons. At Peak View Behavioral Health, we are dedicated to helping those who are struggling with an issue like one of the various kinds of depression, a panic or anxiety disorder, a disorder centered on traumatic experiences, and more.
We are ready and able to help adults, adolescents, families, and Veterans with effective mental health services that can help each person we work with improve their well-being and quality of life.
Let’s look at each group Peak View serves.
Helping Adults with Mental Health and Substance Use Disorders
Peak View Behavioral Health is ready to help adults make positive changes in their life, whether that means treatment for a mental health disorder, a substance use disorder, or both.
All too often, adults put off getting the help they need for challenges they face in life. That may be because they think they are too busy to interrupt their daily responsibilities to pursue treatment for a mental health or substance use issue. It may be because they have convinced themselves that they don’t really have a problem or that if they do have a problem they are perfectly capable of taking care of it on their own. Or they might be embarrassed by the situation they find themselves in and are worried that people in their lives—friends, family, co-workers, members of their faith community, and more—might think less of them. In fact, we suspect that for many adults a combination of some or all of these factors keep them from pursuing help.
But the fact of the matter is that treatment for mental health disorders and/or substance use disorders is life changing. Improving your mental health and regaining your sobriety are two of the most powerful and positive changes you can make—not just for yourself but for the people in your life, too.
Helping Adolescents Navigate Difficult Emotions and Situations
Young people face a variety of challenges as they move toward adulthood, and many of those challenges impact their mental health in negative ways. At Peak View Behavioral Health, we recognize the need for mental health care designed specifically for adolescents.
We offer a range of programs for adolescents—including our Peak Navigation program—that meet these soon-to-be adults where they are and help them build up their resilience and work toward ongoingly positive mental health outcomes.
It might be tempting to think your troubled adolescent is just “going through a phase.” It is far better, however, to help them acquire the skills and support they need to live a healthy, fulfilling life.
Helping Families Find Common Ground and Move Forward Together
Substance use disorders and mental health disorders impact whole families—not just the specific individual who is struggling. And family members often need support to learn how to help their loved one, how to repair relationships that may have been damaged by behavior associated with a disorder, and how to move forward in a positive way.
Peak View’s family support services give all family members the opportunity to make progress together. The entire family builds a sense of mutual trust that services everyone well in a variety of ways as they help a loved one rebuild their life.
We Are Dedicated to Those Who Served Our Country
The people who serve in the armed forces of the United States deserve the best when it comes to care for mental health disorders and substance use disorders that may have developed as a result of their unique experiences. Some Vets, however, are reluctant to seek out treatment because they are not sure that anyone in the civilian world can truly understand what they have gone through.
To address that concern, Peak View Behavioral Health recognizes that Veterans have specific needs that require dedicated approaches to treatment. The Tactical Recovery program is built around the needs of our country’s Veterans. We are wholly committed to serving those who served with the best possible care.
