A Review of Our Website’s Resources Tab

Peak View - A Review of Our Website's Resources Tab

Often, when a person goes to a restaurant, they need to spend some time looking at the entire menu. Maybe they have never been to this spot before and want to take in all the options. Maybe they don’t really know what they are hungry for. Maybe they want to break out of a rut and try something new.

At other times, however, a person may know exactly what sort of food they are looking for. They might be in the mood for appetizers or a burger or a pasta dish or seafood or what have you. In those cases, they are likely to zero in on the part of the menu that details the kind of thing they are interested in.

Websites also have menus. And in some cases, you might arrive at a site and want to take a general look around—clicking here and there to see what there is to see. In other cases, you might have something more specific in mind that has brought you to the site.

For example, you might arrive at the Peak View Behavioral Health website hoping to find out what sorts of resources are available to people who are interested in pursuing treatment for a mental health disorder. When you arrive at the homepage, you might head straight for the “resources” tab.

In this blog post, we are going to zero in on that very tab to give you a quick overview of the resources we offer. Let’s get started.

Assessment and Admissions

The first step in pursuing mental health treatment is often an assessment—a clinical interview that helps determine what sort of services might be most useful to you. This sort of interview might seem daunting or even scary, so Peak View welcomes supportive family members or friends who want to be with you during the process. You will be asked about your medical and mental health history, and all of the information will be used to arrive at a recommendation for your care. That recommendation might include admission to Peak View Behavioral Health.

You can find more information here.

Health Library

You are here right now! We call this section of our website a “health library,” but we often think of it as an ongoing blog that covers a whole range of issues related to mental health and more. We have been adding to this blog regularly for a long time, and that might make it seem like it would be difficult to get into it. But there is no wrong place to start—and there is no need to read posts that you do not believe apply to your current situation. To help you get started, we recently published “A Roundup of Our Roundup,” which points you toward multiple posts around various topics.

Patient Financing

When it comes to seeking out care for a mental health disorder, issues of cost may be at the forefront of your mind. We work with most private insurance companies as well as with Medicare and Medicaid. We also offer payment plans and even financial assistance in some situations.

If you want to talk through the financial side of things, visit this page to get in touch.

Professional and Provider Referrals

If your physician or mental health provider believes you would benefit from receiving care at Peak View Behavioral Health, we are happy to hear from them. We offer a range of services to individuals struggling with a variety of issues—and we might just be the perfect place for you to get the help you need.

You can find more information here.

Forms and Program Information

Head here if you are looking for referral forms, our general admission criteria reference sheet, approved inventory (what you can bring to treatment and what we provide) and visitation guidelines, or the form that allows you to authorize the disclosure of your health information.

Events

We offer a range of educational and networking events throughout the year. Head to this page to join our email list. You can trust that we will never share your contact information with anyone.

Looking for Something Else?

In this post, we have examined just one of the helpful menus on our website. We invite you to explore other topics, including “About Us,” “How We Help,” “Who We Help,” and “Conditions We Treat.” Each menu connects you to a list of topics to learn more about Peak View Behavioral Health and our approach to helping the individuals we serve build better lives for themselves.
