Our intensive outpatient program (IOP) provides adolescents and adults with treatment options for mental health and/or substance use disorders that do not require an inpatient setting. Our outpatient programs are designed for those who can independently handle many aspects of their life without round-the-clock monitoring but who need more intense work beyond standard talk therapy.
In-person IOP programs meet three days a week for three hours per session. Participants can set their schedule for any combination of three days per week and choose to engage in treatment in the morning, afternoon, or evening as their schedule allows. The programs include:
For those working to overcome a substance use disorder, the IOP includes topics including:
We recognize that a traditional, in-person approach to an intensive outpatient program can be quite disruptive to your schedule, making it difficult to succeed at work or school while also distracting from other responsibilities and activities that are part of your day to day life.
As a result, Peak View Behavioral Health now offers a virtual intensive outpatient program known as Momentum. The Momentum program has been designed to serve our clients ages 18 and over in the safety and security of their own home, office, or wherever they may be.
Momentum provides a structured, confidential treatment setting that includes a minimum of 9—and up to 15—hours of therapy and skill-building groups without requiring clients to leave the comfort of their own environment. Participants can engage with the program for three hours a day for no fewer than three, but up to five, days a week. Sessions are offered in the morning, afternoon, and evening to fit varied schedules.
Telehealth is a growing and effective alternative for those delivering and receiving mental health services, and our program utilizes HIPAA-compliant video and communications technology for safety and privacy.
Peak View’s adolescent mental health programs offer support for those ages 12 to 17 who are struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, and other common behavioral health conditions. Our experienced staff helps teens work through past trauma, emotional and social challenges, and other stressors. The program employs person-centered treatment using evidence-based practices and a holistic approach that considers the social, emotional, and physical development of teens as well as the unique challenges adolescents can face when dealing with powerful emotions.
IOP interventions and supports may include:
Designed as a step-down program from inpatient care or for those requiring a highly intensive and structured day program that allows them to return home each evening, Peak View’s Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) provides excellent treatment while allowing participants to maintain important connections in their home life.
