At Peak View Behavioral Health, our mental health program offers those we serve a wide range of treatment options to fit their lifestyle and level of need. Our inpatient program provides assessment and diagnosis of clients of all ages in crisis situations, followed by inpatient treatment at our facility in Colorado Springs. During inpatient treatment, clients are seen by our psychiatrist-led clinical team who will provide care, support, and medication as necessary. The ultimate goal is moving the client through a series of less intensive treatment levels as their condition improves.
Inpatient treatment includes:
For those who travel to our facility for inpatient treatment, we offer referrals to approved care providers near home who can continue to provide treatment as part of Peak View’s ongoing mental health service.
The entire Peak View Behavioral Health team understands that no individual can be reduced to a single diagnosis—and that is why we are fully committed to treating each person we serve as the complex individual they are. We listen intently to ensure we get a full understanding of your current physical and mental health as well as the factors—past and present—that may be contributing to any disorders you are grappling with.
We have the experience, expertise, and compassion to address any co-occurring disorders (like a substance use disorder), childhood or ongoing trauma in your life, and much more.
Peak View provides acute inpatient youth psychiatric services for those aged 12 to 17.
Our youth clinical team is led by a psychiatrist whose expertise is in mental health care for children and adolescents. The full team includes registered nurses and Master’s-level therapists.
We work to effectively treat youths suffering from psychiatric, emotional, and behavioral challenges in order to improve their clinical status and their quality of life so that they may resume their daily activities at home with their families and in their schools and communities.
We accomplish this by providing careful assessment, accurate diagnosis, and rapid stabilization of acute psychiatric symptoms. We also provide referrals to appropriate levels of follow-up care and support.
We are ready and able to help individuals who are struggling with one of the many forms of depression, with anxiety or panic disorders, with disorders grounded in trauma, and more. We can also help you address a substance use disorder that may be contributing to—or be worsened by—a mental health disorder.
Your treatment at Peak View Behavioral Health will be personalized to your specific needs. We understand that there are no cookie cutter solutions when it comes to helping individuals improve their mental health and maintain those improvements over time.
We recognize that our veterans, active military personnel, first responders, and their family members are the backbone of our country. We also understand the long-lasting effects that these roles can have on the people who have served us all. In addition to our general mental health services for adults, Peak View also offers a program specifically for active duty and veterans. Veterans as well as those currently serving, can often find it difficult to reintegrate into civilian life—and they are frequently concerned that no one outside of the military culture can understand what they have been through or help them in any meaningful way. Peak View’s Tactical Recovery program has been carefully designed with the specific needs of active duty and veterans in mind—recognizing their valor as well as the heavy costs to their mental health that can come from their experiences while serving our country.
Peak View Behavioral Health accepts admissions around the clock, seven days a week—and our phone line is staffed 24 hours a day as well. If you or someone you love needs help with psychiatric concerns, call us right away.
