Participants will be introduced to the different components that make up suicide prevention. There is a common focus on crisis Intervention, but there is a lot of prevention that can take place before the word, “suicide”  is even mentioned. Once suicide is an actual factor, it is important that we understand our role and what to do next. Lastly, if the worst occurs, we must respond appropriately In order to reduce the risk of additional deaths by suicide.
