The Jason Foundation, Inc. (JFI) was founded in October of 1997 after the tragic death of Clark’s youngest son, 16-year-old Jason, to the “Silent Epidemic” of youth suicide. Since its founding, JFI has grown to be one of the nation’s leading non-profits addressing the national health crisis of youth suicide. The Jason Foundation, their National Community Affiliates and National Awareness Affiliates create a national network of over 100 local Affiliate Offices located in 32 states. This network makes programs and services available for all fifty states. Since their inception, JFI has never charged for any program or resource they have contracted to provide.

The Jason Foundation, Inc. is dedicated to the prevention of the “Silent Epidemic” of youth suicide through educational and awareness programs that equip young people, educators/youth workers and parents with the tools and resources to help identify and assist at-risk youth.
