Summary:
This presentation will offer the opportunity to identify how ACT can be used to change the lives or those we work with. With ACT and Relational Frame Theory principles to inform our perspectives on the suffering we encounter each day, this presentation. We will outline process-based approaches that encourage psychological flexibility. We will also highlight the role of experiential control in keeping clients stuck in unworkable behaviors and explore interventions that undermine such control behaviors.
