Our trained staff is assessing for all levels of care when a person is being assessed through a clinical assessment. This means we are looking to learn more about the person’s mental health needs through a series of questions and observation. At times, a person may be need to be placed on a 72-hour involuntary hold if they pose a danger to themselves or others. Some patients may be appropriate for our outpatient setting, depending on their situation. Sometimes we will make a recommendation and the individual will refuse. We are happy to give options about the local resources in the community.
